Why Lilian Lubwama No Longer Fears Posting Her Children Online
Social media continues to be an unpredictable space where opinions spread fast and personal lives often become public discussion.
Because of this, some parents choose to keep their children off these platforms in an effort to protect them from unwanted attention or negative interactions.
In contrast, Lilian Kabasinguzi, wife of Abeeka Band lead singer James “Pages” Lubwama, takes a more open approach.
The couple regularly shares moments with their children online, and this naturally draws both interest and scrutiny from audiences.
Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, Lilian reflected on the decision and said she initially felt hesitant about exposing her children to social media.
Over time, she grew more comfortable as she saw how the public responded to them.
She added that she once worried about possible risks, but her experience so far has reassured her, as she has not faced negative reactions directed at her children.
At first it scared me, but later I learned that however much you hide a child, even someone close to you can do anything. But the good thing is that they have not criticized our children. They have received them very well and loved them, so I have not found any problem with it so far.
