Ava Peace Ranks Herself No. 1 Among Ugandan Musicians

During her appearance on Sanyuka TV, singer Ava Peace was asked to name her top five Ugandan artistes.

Without skipping a beat, she put herself at the top of the list, citing her consistent effort over the past year.

I really love Ava Peace because she has been really hardworking, and I love the fact that she has been persistent and good at what she does.

Second on her list was her Team No Sleep (TNS) label-mate Jowy Landa.

Ava praised her talent and also took a moment to comfort her after the recent loss of her brother.

Jowy Landa is very dope. I pray to God that He strengthens her heart so that she comes back stronger. May God have mercy on her late brother’s soul, and may it rest in eternal peace.

Third was Winnie Nwagi, whom Ava described as exceptionally good, adding that she has a lot of love and admiration for her.

She went on to mention another TNS artiste, Pretty Banks, placing her at number four and highlighting her vocal ability.

Pretty Banks can sing. She has beautiful vocals. She is really talented, and I urge everyone to go and search for her music. Top notch.

Although the list initially seemed focused on female artistes, Ava later included Dax Vibes and Elijah Kitaka.

She noted that the list could go on, as Uganda has no shortage of talented musicians, but those were her top picks at the time of asking.
