Sanyuka TV Introduces “EbinaUganda” to Spotlight Local Film

Sanyuka TV has introduced “EbinaUganda,” a new program focused on homegrown films.

The show will run Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, giving local productions a consistent slot on national television.

It highlights Ugandan stories, from culture to everyday life, with content that reflects what viewers already relate to.

The station is rolling this out at a time when the local film industry still struggles with visibility, despite the volume of work coming out.

By setting aside a full hour each day, Sanyuka TV is giving filmmakers access to a wider audience.

Early reactions from industry players suggest the timing works.

Many see it as a practical step that could help upcoming actors, directors, and producers gain exposure.

With “EbinaUganda,” Sanyuka TV puts local content at the center of its lineup and reinforces the role television still plays in shaping Uganda’s film space.
