Ziza Bafana Blasts Eddy Kenzo Over Leadership and Respect

Tensions in Uganda’s music industry are rising again as Ziza Bafana sharpens his criticism of Eddy Kenzo, delivering a pointed message during a recent interview.

Bafana questioned Kenzo’s leadership and approach as president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), making it clear that holding office should not come at the expense of respect.

You being the federation president does not give you the moral authority to put fellow artistes down.

His remarks add to ongoing disagreements within the music fraternity, where artistes continue to express mixed reactions to Kenzo’s leadership style and public statements.

Bafana stressed that mutual respect should remain central, regardless of titles or positions.

He also argued that leadership should unite and uplift rather than divide, a stance that has since sparked fresh debate among fans and industry stakeholders. While some have backed his position, others continue to defend Kenzo.

Kenzo has not yet responded directly to the comments, leaving fans watching closely to see whether the situation escalates or cools down.

As the exchange unfolds, calls for dialogue and reconciliation are growing, with many emphasizing the need for unity to move the Ugandan music industry forward.
