Bebe Cool Takes Jolly Mutesi Dispute Offline After Muhoozi’s Call
A dispute that had quickly become one of the most talked-about stories on social media appears to have ended with a single phone call.
Bebe Cool has revealed that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba contacted him and advised him to resolve his disagreement with Jolly Mutesi away from the public eye.
The singer sparked controversy after claiming Jolly conned him under the guise of opportunities linked to Rwanda and Arsenal FC.
His accusations drew an immediate response from the former Miss Rwanda, who denied any involvement and suggested that someone may have impersonated her.
She also pointed to warnings she had previously issued about fake accounts allegedly operating in her name.
The situation escalated when Jolly threatened legal action after Bebe Cool publicly linked her to the alleged fraud.
To the general public.
I would like to tell you that I didn’t take allegations made by MOSES SSALI aka BEBE COOL @BebeCoolUG lightly and in the interest of ensuring that all matters are handled appropriately, I have formally referred this matter to my legal counsel. @Mbidde. pic.twitter.com/R7TWVIgnOc

As the debate intensified online, Muhoozi reportedly stepped in.
According to Bebe Cool, the Chief of Defence Forces urged both sides to take the matter off social media.
This morning I received a call from my big brother, @mkainerugaba, regarding the issue with Jolly. As my elder and leader, he advised me to drop it, delete the tweets, and resolve it amicably off social media since we are both family to him and there is no need for a public spat.
He added:
I appreciate his guidance and agree.
For now, the public dispute appears to be over, although questions surrounding the alleged scam remain unanswered.
