Gloria Bugie Shares Why Relationships and Motherhood Are Not Her Priorities Right Now
Singer Gloria Bugie, born Gloria Busingye, addressed her haters in an interview with Sanyuka TV, revealing that they are many, particularly in her line of work.
She explained that many female musicians, especially the ‘Nyash-less’ ones, do not like her, but she has no issue with them.
“Those who do not like me, I pay them no mind. Those who love me, I love them back,” she said, adding, “Those who dislike me are simply fans in denial.”
Shifting focus to her personal life, Gloria made it clear that relationships and starting a family are not her current priorities.
“I do not want to get married. I do not want to give birth right now. I do not want a relationship. Very many yearn for me, but I am not interested. I do not have time for men right now,” she stressed.
Instead, Gloria emphasized that her career, which is just beginning and already booming, demands her full attention.
“I am making my own money, so why should I focus on men, more so other people’s men?” she asked.
With her sights set on bringing Uganda BET and Grammy Awards this year, the “Panama” singer is fully focused on her music, knowing that Ugandans never forget a promise.
