Reign Throws Open Challenge to Comedians, Musicians Also on Notice
Reign Omusoyisoyi, one half of the comedy duo Maulana & Reign, has stirred up the entertainment scene after boldly calling out fellow comedians for an open battle.
With confidence, Reign declared that he and his partner are ready to face any comedian who believes they are funnier.
Anyone who thinks they can battle Maulana & Reign should come and face us. All comedians in Uganda, if you believe you are funny, we are ready to prove we are a class above.
He insisted they are the best comedy duo in the country and said a showdown would settle the debate once and for all.
In particular, he mentioned Madrat & Chiko, challenging them to step forward and prove themselves.
Beyond comedy, Reign made it clear the challenge would not stop there.
He warned that after facing comedians, they will turn their attention to musicians, especially those whose music, according to him, lacks clarity and meaning.
After the comedians, we will also take on musicians, especially those whose music people do not understand. We want to bring back real music.
With that, Reign has expanded his battle lines beyond comedy and into the wider entertainment industry.
