Sandra Lian has stirred debate in Uganda’s entertainment scene after revealing her list of top female artistes of all time, only to leave one slot mysteriously blank.
The media personality shared her picks on Sanyuka Uncut, explaining that she focused on artistes who have remained relevant over the years without fading or becoming outdated.
She named Juliana Kanyomozi as a defining voice whose music continues to resonate, while Cindy Sanyu stood out for her commanding stage presence. Irene Namubiru earned recognition for her reach both locally and internationally, and Rema Namakula for her strong vocals and songwriting.
Sandra also included Sheebah Karungi for her energy and success as an independent artiste, alongside Spice Diana for her consistency over the years.
The list stretched further to include Azawi for her artistry and style, Vinka for her stage presence and collaborations, and Karole Kasita, who also secured a spot.
However, despite presenting it as a top 10, Sandra only mentioned nine names, leaving the final position open without explanation.
That missing slot has since sparked conversation online, with fans debating who deserves to complete the list and offering their own picks as the discussion around Uganda’s top female artists continues to grow.
