Ye Postpones Marseille Concert Amid Pressure From French Authorities

Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has postponed his planned June concert in Marseille as French authorities review the concert.

The move follows a recent ban in the United Kingdom, adding to growing scrutiny around his international appearances.

France’s interior ministry said it is reviewing whether to stop the concert, citing concerns about public order and messaging.

Marseille’s mayor also opposed the show and said he does not want the city to serve as a platform for those who promote hatred.

While officials have not announced a formal ban, rising pressure appears to have pushed Ye to delay the concert.

Ye has not addressed the situation publicly, and it remains unclear whether he will reschedule the Marseille Concert or move it to another location.
