GNL Zamba Earns UFF Nomination for Infinity & Dancing Music

GNL Zamba is showing that his storytelling goes beyond music.

Together with his wife, Miriam Tamar, the Lugaflow rapper has co-created a short film titled Infinity & Dancing Music, and it is already gaining attention.

As of April 29, the project has secured a nomination for Best Short Film at the Uganda Film Festival (UFF) Awards 2026, marking a major step in his creative journey.

The film stands out for its unique approach. It blends spoken word, hip-hop poetry, layered music, and indigenous storytelling to explore themes of spirituality, healing, and human connection.

Early viewers have praised the project, describing it as “incredible” and “impeccable,” highlighting its originality and emotional depth.

For fans familiar with GNL Zamba’s work, that reaction comes as no surprise.

The nomination also reflects a growing link between Uganda’s music and film industries, as more artists turn to multiple forms of expression.

With the awards approaching, attention now turns to Infinity & Dancing Music as one of the standout entries.
