Is Uganda the New Celebrity Playground? Mr Eazi Lands

Uganda is somehow turning into the place to be and the celebrities are clearly getting the memo.

In just a matter of weeks, the country has hosted a surprising lineup of global names.

First came international DJ heavyweight Diplo, whose presence alone stirred excitement across Kampala.

Not long after, Game of Thrones star Maisie “Arya Stark” Williams was also spotted in the country, adding to the growing buzz that something big is happening on the scene.

Now, Nigerian Afrobeats star Mr Eazi has touched down and fans are trying to connect the dots with a few theories making the rounds.

Some fans are speculating that Mr Eazi’s visit could be tied to one of two things or possibly both: a potential studio link-up with Joshua Baraka, or a surprise appearance as the special guest promised by Linus for his upcoming tattoo party.

And honestly? Neither sounds far fetched.

But beyond the music and the mystery guest theories there’s a bigger story here.

Uganda is having a moment. Whether it’s intentional strategy or perfect timing, whatever the tourism and cultural players are doing, it is working.

The country is fast becoming a celebrity hotspot, attracting global personalities in rapid succession.

And if this trend continues, Kampala might just cement itself as East Africa’s newest entertainment hub.
