Ray Signature Points to Songwriting as His Biggest Achievement
Ray Signature says his growth in the music industry has come through years of experience, mistakes, learning from the people around him, and his work in songwriting.
During an interview on KFM, the Ugandan musician, who has written for Irene Ntale, Rema Namakula, and Juliana Kanyomozi, spoke about how his journey has shaped him.
It is a lot because when you are in this business, you get to meet many people and make friends along the way. We learn, and we also make a lot of mistakes.
He says those years helped him understand what really matters to him now, especially the role he has played in songwriting.
But one thing I look at most of the time is the legacy. I feel like I have played a big part in the industry, especially when it comes to songwriting. To me, that is a great achievement, and I am not worried.

Ray is also focusing on building something under his own name.
He started his concert, “A Night With Ray Signature,” last December and plans to hold it every year.
Another thing is that I decided to start doing a show every year. I held the first edition last December. The show is called ‘A Night With Ray Signature,’ and it was a successful event. I will be doing it every year. I feel like that is also another achievement.
With his writing already shaping the industry, Ray is now stepping forward to carry that name on his own stage.
