Spice Diana Forgives Bukomansimbi Promoter After Payment Clash

Singer Spice Diana has forgiven a promoter she recently clashed with over unpaid fees following a performance in Bukomansimbi.

The dispute started after the singer reportedly travelled for hours and performed, only for the promoter to fail to pay her.

Frustrated, she confiscated some equipment as collateral and later took to social media to express her anger.

“Normal people are enjoying their beds, you drive 4 hours on pressure… with the poor roads of Uganda past midnight, then no payment,” she wrote, adding, “I do not joke with my money, the ghetto in me comes out.”

In a new development, Spice Diana says she has since met the promoter and chosen to let the matter go.

“I have forgiven him because forgiving has never been hard for me. However, let this be a lesson to other promoters,” she said in a video circulating online.

She also warned event organisers against mishandling artistes, pointing out that fans often direct their frustration at performers instead of promoters.

“When an artiste does not perform, fans get mad at the artiste and not the promoter… yet it is the promoter who fails to pay,” she explained.

Responding to critics, she defended her decision to fight for her earnings, saying her income supports her team.

“People wonder why I fight for my money yet I have a manager… it is from that money that I pay my workers, including the manager.”

While she has forgiven the promoter, Spice Diana made it clear she will not tolerate similar situations in future.

“I will do it again if someone plays with my money,” she said.
