Spice Apologises, Promises Early Arrival for Kampala Show
Spice has directly addressed the fallout from her cancelled Kampala show, opening with an apology and a firm promise to show up this time.
The Jamaican dancehall star pulled out of her December 6, 2025 concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval after promoters failed to meet contractual terms, a move that left fans disappointed and uncertain about her return.
Speaking on NBS After 5 ahead of her rescheduled May 9, 2026 show, she made it clear she is aware of that disappointment and wants to correct it.
Well, first, if we are going to speak about that, the first thing I want to do is apologise for not coming last year. I want to apologise to everyone who was disappointed that they did not see me. But now I can guarantee that I will be there on the 9th of May.

Spice went further and committed to arriving in Uganda days before the concert, a move meant to remove any doubt about her appearance.
As a matter of fact, because of what happened last year, I will arrive earlier. I think I will be there from the 4th of May, so people will get to see me.
Beyond the performance itself, she says she wants to turn the visit into a full experience, using the extra time to connect with fans and explore the country.
I am coming for a whole week. I want to experience everything. I want to eat the food, see the people for myself, hug my fans and my besties. I just want to enjoy the culture. So I will be there for an entire week, and there is nothing for anyone to doubt. People will see me long before the show on the 9th of May. I am going to be there.
With the apology, early arrival plan, and week-long stay now clearly laid out, Spice is setting expectations ahead of her Kampala performance.
